The aim of the BSSM is to present, in a<br>friendly atmosphere, to secondary school students, teachers and university students<br>different aspects of mathematical sciences and research, as well as their inherent<br>joy, beauty and usefulness. After 3 students in the first year (2007), the BSSM now<br>has each year about 100 participants (the 6th edition in 2013 was the last year he<br>took part in the organization). In 2012, he received the Wernaers Prize for the idea<br>and organization of the BSSM.<\/p>\n\n<p>In September 2024, he was invited to the Round Table as a participant at REEL2024 to discuss about digitalization, future and education in Cologne.
