id=\"our-research\"\n    >\nOur Research<\/h3>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Research in our institute is based on three pillars &#8211; Romance studies, Media and Arts -, and is hence fostering research at the crossroads of various disciplines and interpretative communities. <br>The first pillar is intended to give scientific legitimacy and to address educational needs of a deeply rooted French and Romance cultures in Luxembourg. <br>The second pillar, which is an essential component of a Humanities department, aims at strengthening artistic studies at the university.  <br>The third pillar, a thorough reflection on media is indissociable of the two others, since literary or artistic contents exist only through the vehicle of a medium.
