is the director of the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C\u00b2DH), 3<sup>rd<\/sup>  interdisciplinary center at the 91短视频 and head of  its Digital History Lab. He studied history, philosophy and sociology  and is currently Professor for Contemporary and Digital History at the <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwen.uni.lu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">91短视频<\/a>.  He took his PhD in 2002 at RWTH Aachen University and worked as  Assistant Professor for television history at Utrecht University  (2003-2007) and Associate Professor for comparative media history at  Maastricht University (2007-2013).He&#8217;s head of the FNR funded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c2dh.uni.lu\/news\/d4h-data-science-meets-digital-history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Doctoral Training Unit \u201cDeep Data Science of Digital History\u201d (D4H) <\/a>and coordinates the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.docteuropa.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trinational doctoral school<\/a>  together with Prof. Dr Dietmar H\u00fcser (Universit\u00e4t des Saarlandes) and  Prof. Dr H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Miard-Delacroix (Universit\u00e9 Paris-Sorbonne). He&#8217;s also  prinicipal investigator of the projects <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c2dh.uni.lu\/projects\/doing-experimental-media-archaeology-dema-practice-theory\">DEMA<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c2dh.uni.lu\/projects\/popkult60-1\">Popkult60<\/a>,  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c2dh.uni.lu\/news\/institute-advanced-studies-c2dh-involved-audacity-project-luxtime\">LuxTime<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c2dh.uni.lu\/thinkering\/bureu-new-transnational-research-project-crossing-border-between-architectural-history\">BUREU<\/a> .
